What the fizz?
The truth is that the fresher the bath bomb, the faster it will fizz. Do you care if your bomb fizzes at warp speed or not? If not, then fear not... BUT your bathtime bliss will be more hydrating and moisturizing to your skin if you DO use your treats within the first 3-4 weeks.

Obviously you can keep them longer, months really. But over time the 2 main ingredients (Citric Acid & Baking Soda) will start to oxidize, and eventually they bind to each other (which reduces the fizz-ability factor.)

Moisturizing Properties
Another important note is the natural blends of hydrating oils and rich butters (like cocoa butter, shea butter and mango butter) start to dry out over time when exposed to the air. So if you want to keep your moisture in your bombs and make the most of them, be sure to:

  • Keep them in air tight containers with tight fitting lids or use ziploc bags.
  • Make sure you keep your scents wrapped as they will infuse each other; they play very well together in a group setting! SO if you do not want your lemongrass mingling with your coconut lime bath bomb, keep them apart!
  • Read the labels of your products. Some bombs are meant to drop right into the bath and fizz and dance around the tub. Others are meant to be crumbled under running water (usually to get more foam and bubbles)
  • Keep your natural bombs wrapped well as the essential oils used to scent these heavenly creatures will evaporate and lose their properties.

What about sensitive skin?
Anybody can use a bath bomb obviously avoiding essential oils or ingredients that one might be allergic to (ie. citrus, lavender etc..)  Our bath bombs are extremely gentle as they are 100% natural, non-toxic ingredients.

What about glitter in the bath tub?
We choose to stay away from glitter and huge amounts of colorant. For me personally, the bath bomb experience is about hydration, relaxation and scent. I don't see the need for fillers and extra ingredients that bring no value to the bath experience. Not to mention, the idea of cleaning glitter out of my lady parts does NOTHING for me! Same goes for the excess colours, we prefer natural essential oils, mild, GMO-free and BPA-free colorant and add dried plant, floral and herb content for visual impact.

What if I don't like dried petals in my water?
No problem! Put your bath bomb in a muslin tea bag or stainless tea ball strainer. Let the goodness of the ingredients infuse your bath water and leave the dried petals and flowers in the strainer to toss out later. Super easy cleanup!

Can I personalize a Bath Bomb?
Yes! We do it all the time! We do shower gifts, wedding and brides maid gifts where we are matching colours, themes etc. We can also do multi-tone colours and specific scents.  Just email us and we will get your wish into our production schedule. Just give us at least 2 weeks notice for custom orders.

I hope that answers a few of your questions, feel free to reach out via email if you have others!
